France and the United States, Mills & Partners, Mills Properties, student loan debt that I owe, still, today.

I worked for H.L. Yoh Co., and, was placed at AT&T Network Systems, in Ballwin, Missouri, in September, 1993.  During my six months of employment there, I traveled with the Engineering Department.  This work involved phone equipment, and inventory work, in advance of the internet.

I was hired after an interview with Kimberly Stevens, at the office of H.L. Yoh Co., in west St. Louis County.  She talked to another employee, a male, and, I signed a contract agreeing to a $6.50/hour wage.  This was a cut in pay for me.  But, this was a full-time job, though, in the same telecommunications area of work.  Previous to this, I was employed, part-time, at Western Union Financial Services, at their world headquarters in Bridgeton, Mo., as a Customer Service Representative, sending and receiving messages and money orders.   I worked up at this job, starting there in April, 1992, and, was given increases in wages, according to what was set by the Communication Workers of America Union.

I remember meeting Russ Mandziara, on my first day at AT&T.  He asked me, offhand, if I was a graduate of ITT.  Not hearing entirely, and, not knowing the company, I nodded my head and said "yes".  I thought he was referring to IIT, or Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago.  I had interviewed there and met a couple of people from that school in 1991, and, so, I thought he was making conversation and asked me, if I knew IIT?  What he was referring to was ITT Technical School, a two year program where four of the other people I worked with had graduated from, in 1993.  One of the other people I worked with was a graduate of Florida, the University of Florida or something.  I traveled with that guy, with Bob Ahrens, and, two other guys.  Bob Ahrens was the group leader in the Engineering Department, who all six of us reported to,  for work.

In April, 1994, I needed money, and, was entitled to a week of vacation.  I was looking for other work, and, had been working a part-time job, in the evening, at Architectural Renderings, in Creve Couer, under Hu Somjee, a Registered Architect.  I quit this job at AT&T after a week of vacation.  I came back and was told to read some drawings - can you do that?  At this point, being an Architect, I told him I was a Registered Architect.  I was insulted by the insinuation that I didn't know about reading drawings.

Prior to my vacation, I had produced some two-dimensional plans with AutoCad software, under another man, in another room, in the Engineering Department.  I read drawing after drawing.  This was required, because I had to read all of the existing equipment drawings, from all the offices in Missouri, and, put them in AutoCad.  There were three men in the room with me, who, basically sat and talked all day.  I don't know what they did, but, I did not notice much getting done.  I piled printed and finished drawing after drawing on the desk of the man in this other room.  I don't remember his name.

In this room, in 1994, I printed out the Maya Video Products, Inc. files one day.  I had access to this printer and the software, for the first time since 1990.  I have posted those printed drawings online, as evidence that I worked for the company for four weeks, in November and December, 1990.  Is this OK?  I did not know a company that had the software and a large printer available, at that time, for hire.  Was there one?  Large printers were expensive, in 1993 and 1994.

So, in April, 1994, I quit my job at AT&T Network Systems.  Little did I know, but, a woman I knew from July, 1992-April, 1994, named "Kathleen Marie Mills" was married to a man in ownership with a company named "Mills & Partners".  I found, online, after 2003, that this company owned an AT&T factory in France.
Robert Mills is brother to a James N. Mills, and, was divorced two times, in 1992.   He divorced "Kathleen M. Mills" around 1998, but, was going through the divorce in 1994.  I worked a 1-800 number at Western Union, from April, 1992-September, 1993.  I was made fun of by "Kathleen Mills" for working a 1-800 number job.  This added to my embarrassment at inability of finding a higher-paying job.

Her influence was me, at this job, in 1994.  This followed me to the next job, and, the next job, all contract jobs.  She told me that the Washington University neighborhood "isn't safe", in a meeting at what is, now, Destiny Church, in Town & Country, Mo.  I thought she was wrong.  In May, 1994, I moved into a sublet in the University City Loop area, just north of Washington University.  I never knew the two women who had the other part of the apartment, prior to moving in, on Westgate Avenue.  After about a month, I was told, by them, to move to another apartment in the apartment complex.  So, I did, get an apartment there, by myself, and, stayed there, until May, 1995.  At that point, I was too sick to keep the apartment and didn't have any money, having been let go from a contract job, in February, 1995.  See the letter, on the side, on this webpage:  http://cgstudentloandischarge.blogspot.com/ , addressed to M.K.-Ferguson Group.

My head injury is much better, today.  I barely remember this, 20 years ago, now, in 2015.
